About the Japan Food & Culture Association

Japan Food & Culture Association is dedicated to promoting the accurate understanding and dissemination of Japan's food culture, traditional culture, and advanced technologies across the globe. We established this association because we felt that there were too few opportunities overseas to showcase Japan’s culture and technology, and that adequate venues for such presentations were lacking. It is essential that more people become aware of Japan's valuable assets, ranging from time-honored traditions to cutting-edge technologies. We hope to create more fans of Japan and foster trade opportunities through these efforts.

Our activities focus primarily on international outreach, utilizing the knowledge and expertise of Japanese professionals to ensure that Japan’s culture and technology are accurately presented abroad and appropriately utilized in various countries. Moving forward, we will continue to take a leadership role in preserving and passing down Japan's culture and technology to future generations, while sharing their value and appeal with people around the world.

Promoting the Fundamental Understanding and Dissemination of Japanese Culture and Technology

We aim to accurately and attractively present Japan’s traditional food culture and modern dietary practices, working to eliminate misunderstandings and prejudices. We sometimes encounter situations where Japanese culture is not properly understood and is used inappropriately. To address these concerns, our association is committed to promoting a correct understanding of Japanese culture and safeguarding its value.

Global Outreach and Cultivation of Cultural Ambassadors, with a Focus on Asia

Our association organizes events and seminars, particularly in the Asia region, to promote Japanese food culture. Through these activities, we aim to increase the number of people who can serve as cultural ambassadors, spreading Japanese culture and technology. We support these individuals in their roles, ensuring that Japanese culture is accurately conveyed and utilized in countries around the world.

Through our exchanges, we hope to deepen mutual respect and understanding, building new relationships.
